The weather recently presented itself from its unfriendly side. There is little hope for improvement. Once again, thunderstorms and precipitation are coming.
Sunday will begin in the morning, especially in the extreme south and north, with isolated, partly thundery showers. As the day progresses, showers and thunderstorms will develop from the Tyrolean lowlands eastward, which may also reach the southern and eastern lowlands in the afternoon. Apart from thunderstorm gusts, the wind will blow only weakly from westerly directions. Highs will range between 20 and 26 degrees.
On Monday, it will be sunny at times after the dissolution of some fog fields in the lowlands from Lake Constance to Tyrol and north of the Alps. However, new spring clouds will quickly form in the eastern and southern mountainous areas, especially from Carinthia to Styria; fresh, local showers and thunderstorms may develop over the mountains from noon onwards. In large parts of the country, however, it will remain dry and somewhat warmer again, with temperatures rising to 22 to 28 degrees.
Tuesday will start in the lowlands and valleys with fog or high fog in some areas; outside of them often sunny. However, showers and thunderstorms will form again during the day, especially in the southern mountains and in the Mühlviertel and Waldviertel, and in the late evening, storms will start in the far west. In contrast, it will remain friendly in the hills and lowlands, and with 23 to 29 degrees, it will temporarily be a bit warmer.
On Wednesday, the sun will shine from eastern Styria to the Weinviertel, but some showers and thunderstorms will move in from the west during the day. The main focus will be on the mountains, behind which it will quickly loosen up again sunny in Vorarlberg. Also, the sun will appear in the afternoon in Tyrol, Upper Carinthia, and Salzburg. In the east, the wind will be moderate and brisk from northerly directions. The highs will range between 19 and 27 degrees from north to south.
